One of the keys to our success has been to stay ahead of the technological curve. In 2000, we introduced Alumiwall 6000, an impact-resistant, 4-sided structurally glazed curtain wall system. A smaller version, Alumiwall 4500, was added for storefront applications and punched openings. We later upgraded the 6000 to make it a stationary flood barrier system and developed the larger Alumiwall 6400HP (high performance) curtain wall with greater wind load resistance as well as bomb-blast resistance.

Over time, Alumiglass’ record of success attracted the attention of Corporacion Furukawa, a global leader in the glazing industry based in Peru. In 2010, Alumiglass became part of Furukawa, gaining industrial support, business infrastructure, and a new reach into worldwide markets.
